Yesterday ..

.. we went out to Mom and Dad's. "We" being my sister, who drove; my son, my son's friend and myself. Hamburgers were eaten by all. Well, not by Mom. She ate chicken and tortilla chips.

My son and his friend did some work for Mom and Dad, to help make up for some of the rent owed. I did some sorting out of things, and I ended up with six bags of stuff to leave the house and go to the poor; plus one large bag of stuff to go to my house.

There's still a lot left to do, though.

We stopped and had our ID changed (me and my son). They charged us $12 each, even though it was simply for an address change and to have a mistake they had made corrected. It should have only been $4 each, last I checked. Grr!  I didn't even think about it, at the time.

Yesterday, I freaked out a bit, while looking for a birth certificate. It was like the way I feel when people are smoking pot around me. Which, the new neighbors, on both sides, are pot heads, so it's very likely that is exactly what was happening. During said freak out, I tipped over a bookcase and now there are two new holes in a wall and the bookcase is broken. So, I just made life for me a little worse.

Yes, I am a wee bit depressed to know that. Just saw the holes, though, write before I wrote this. Mainly, I don't know what to do. How do I get away from pot smokers? How? Why should my life be constantly miserable because other people want their selfish pleasures? I'm afraid I'll end up in jail because other people smoke pot.

It's not like I can do anything about it. Sure, it's still illegal - assuming they don't have a proper medical reason for smoking it - but, it's not like I can prove they have it, and, it's not like that much would happen to them if I could. And, I'd just end up with neighbors that hate me and see me as a narc. I don't want that. I just want to be able to breathe and exert my own self control. Which, it makes me lose control, so badly, that I'm very afraid of what will happen. And, anyway, I have no proof and I have no hope.

Ah, never mind. It's too difficult and rather pointless, since I have no money for custom made shoes (or any shoes) and since they don't make shoes that fit me, in general.

Dad was beaten by some boys at the gym, and so he has quit running it. He tried to report it to the police and the police expressed dire concern that he may have laid a hand on one of them. He was actually knocked out after being viciously attacked by several at once and when I talked to him, he was off to the doctor to see if his arm was fractured. He's over 70 years old! They were several teenage weight lifters.

Kicked out Blondie

There were two extra people staying here and now there is one. That's because the blonde one was seen, by me, dipping his hands into the stew that was left over from last night, eating the meat and veggies out of it; then, he'd lick his fingers and stick his hand back in the stew. Then, he went on to do relatively the same thing to the peanut butter.

I had found a glass of what looked like toothpaste spit (but might have been Boraxo and water) spilled in the kitchen, this morning, that I know was done by him, too.

Just too much weirdness and too icky, too. So, I told him if the boys want him to come over and know he is there, he can come hang out, sometimes; but, no spending the night and no living here.

We are making plans, sort of, to go out to Mom and Dad's on Thursday, so Marcus can do some yard work and earn money toward his rent payment and I can do a little cleaning. Part of it may depend on if Roberta wants to drive us out there.

I'm an idiot

Barely any food, but, we went to the bank and ended up at Pappy's Diner, and, even though my son did not want a burger and I only ordered one for me and one for my son's friend, I ended up with no burger. Why? Because, I ordered it without telling them to not put cheese on it.

It looked so good with the cheese, too! But, I did not partake. I ate my son's friend's  french fries, though.

Saw a vase at Family Dollar, oh and a lamp, that I would like to have. They'd go very nice with my planned decor, such as I have planned it, and not look like cheap pieces of crap, even though, in fact, that is what they are.  There was also a candle holder with a black square behind it, which had a golden tree painted on it. Hard to explain, but, lovely to look at. The vase was dark "wood" with sort of tan (as in creamy, not white) cherry blossoms on it. The lamp was one of those .. oh, it's hard to explain, as well, as I can't think of the right word. It kind of reminds me of only the top part of a glass.

Anyway, I would be quite happy to have them.  Not likely to happen, though.

Spent most of my money on the wrong food and spent most of Jordan's friend's  food stamps, that he gave me to spend, on drinks for us on the walk. These walks are getting too expensive! Mostly, it's that it is at the hottest part of the day, so I end up needing to go into the diner to sit and wait for the sun to go down.

I did some writing this morning. Oh, and I got a notice from DES that I can call in before the 21st, or come into the office. The 21st is my deadline, not the day of my appointment.Just called and told Mom that.

Much organizing

Well, much for me. I worked in the kitchen, today, putting away dishes, washing a few, figuring out where to put the spices and the cups o' noodles, both of which I own in plentiful amounts.

My sister called and invited me to go to an art store with her. Saw many fine things I would like to have, for the creation of art, and a few brushes that I'd like to use for sensual massage if, in fact, there was anyone to massage. Yes, seriously! They were very soft and tickly.

After that, we went to Pier 1, where I found many things to love. The one thing I was sure of that I would enjoy having in my home, regardless of what else I did with the place, was this chest of Asian feel, with dragonflies on it. It was black with red and gold designs sort of etched onto it. Very cute. Would be fine underneath a wall-mounted flat screen, for housing a few videos, I guess.

Then, back to her house, where we watched some HGTV and I had the idea, again, of putting the love seat at the end of my bed, if and when I ever get my bed. Not sure it would work, just because of the configurations of the room, though.

Then, off to the dog park, which was very pleasant. Yes, we took the dogs.

Oh, and, somewhere in all that, pretty near the front, I discovered that my son stole my money. See, his friend finally paid me back the $20 he owed me, and I used some of it to buy a silverware organizer tray and my favorite magazines, a soda and candy for me and my sister (each), and had about $6.50 left over, which my son took out of my wallet.  (sigh)

Dropped my black peppers, which came in their own glass jar with a grinder, too; not while out with my sister, but, while organizing things. It's a bummer, but, I'll live. I certainly have black pepper, just not whole cloves.

All in all it was an eventful day, filled with disappointment, laughter, hurt feelings, weirdness and beef stew. The weirdness was mainly related to a movie we watched called American Perfekt. At least, I think that is the name of it. Very weird. Yes, I think I would recommend seeing it, but, the one review we read seemed to hit it on the head. Something about how they liked the movie but were not sure why and damn if they'd ever do heads or tails over anything again.

Still no word from that guy. Pretty sure there is nothing to get excited about, on any level, in any direction.

Last night ..

I baked chicken legs, in a tin foil packet, with a little Marsala wine, some chili powder, garlic powder, Caribbean jerk sauce (only little drizzles), a little Cayenne pepper; also, some Red Delicious apples, just wrapped in foil, no other sweetener or addition; and, then some potatoes were baked. I served it, for me, with a salad of mixed greens and a dressing made of salsa and mayonnaise combined.

The boys liked it, and I liked it.

This morning, one of the boys handed me a $20 bill, but, they came back and reclaimed it, alleging that they will bring me some money tonight.

Barely any work for me, so far, from Jennifer. Which is good in that I am sick and headachy, but, bad in so many other ways. Also, nothing heard regarding the job I applied for or the man I fairly recently mentioned writing to, whose ad was on CL.

Tonight, I am using my casserole pot, I guess it is called (well, it is now), and cooking the rest of the chicken legs, with steak cut white mushrooms, some red onion that has been sliced into slivers, rosemary, basil, tarragon, a little ginger, garlic and some red pepper flakes and when that is cooked and cooled enough, I shall pull the chicken from the bone and use it for the base for a spaghetti sauce, by adding in more herbs (probably the same ones, just more of them) and some olive oil; and, of course, adding in noodles.

If Jehovah is willing, of course.

Just a few minutes ago, I was laying down in the front room and someone pulled up, parked in front of my mailbox and went into the neighbors house. This time I wrote a note, asking them to kindly stop parking in front of my mailbox, as I am living here (the word living underlined). And, a PS that asked them to please pass this along to everyone else they know who parks on this street.  Then, when I saw them coming out, probably to see why I was near their truck, I slammed the door, locked it and came back here.

Didn't feel angry, until I slammed the door. Then, I was pacing and fuming and thinking of nasty things to say to people. Now, however, I am mostly back to being headachy.

Uhm .. the weird kind. I should be doing some right now, in fact, as I was with Lulu.com but they screwed my account up so bad  and now I kind of have to rewrite my book, the main one I had self published, and, then see about sending it off to be rejected by real publishing houses, instead.  I write a lot of stuff, from time to time, but, the main thing I write is about the land of Ordine, on the world of Ordem, which is ruled by the god Chaos; and, events related to that. The book in question is Chronicles of Ordine: Book I: Sacred Beggar Boy, which is an explantion, in some weird fashion, of their main religion and how the sacred beggar boy got to be the sacred beggar boy.

You need to be domesticated as in you are a bad boy, who would like a long-suffering wife to wait at home and berate him for whatever he smells like, that he shouldn’t, when he comes stumbling in at the wrong hour of the morning? Or, as in  you’d like to be told that you are taking her shopping for a new whip, then ordered to your knees when you get home with it, so she can break it in? Or, something in-between?

Still, Bryan, what it comes down to is knowing the person and the person wanting to submit. As has amply been proven by William Wallace, Spartacus, Gandhi and Jesus, there is no such thing as forcing someone to submit who really doesn’t want it. However, as was also proven by them all, most people who have the strength for it will submit to what is important to them to keep in their lives.

I don’t play games with brats, who want to challenge me every step of the way and be beat down. That’s far too unpleasant, and, I have had enough unpleasantness in my life. But, I am entirely the sort of person who will make sure you learn to show up when I tell you to,  who will make sure you know what the rules are, and, who is not adverse to taking disciplinary measures, anything from what one might do to a child to what one might do to a slave – though, probably a slave that one likes. lol  And, there is reason I don’t have anyone in my life, right now; which is that I am extraordinary picky about some aspects of what I will put up with, and I don’t need a man. I would like to have a good man, who was companionable and gentlemanly to some degree, good at sex, interesting to talk to, etc.  But, I don’t need one, so I don’t have to put up with things not going my way, and I will not, except where it amuses me to do so, or where circumstances outside of our control dictate it must be so.

For me, I don’t need someone to give me structure, as to what to write; but, I do need someone to give me something. A muse, for want of a better descriptive. I want to be in love, mad, passionate, wild, crazy love.

By the way, the fact that you mentioned the provision of structure tells me a lot. I’m very good at that.  Not just with writing, but, in that way, too.  To have a man who is willing to live with that structure, but, who does not go too far the other way, is an ideal I have yet to achieve. “Too far the other way” being about me having met far too many men who claim to want to submit, but, who really want to be abused and forced to perform disgusting acts, that really degrade everyone associated with them. I shan’t go into detail, though, unless you need me to.

ugh

I am feeling quite, quite ill this morning, as in I had to run to the bathroom more than once and feeling nauseous, too. Other things that make me go "Ugh" are that our roommate did not get his Food Stamps, today; at least, not as early as he was expecting them, but, they may show up later. In the meantime, they told me they panhandled $40 yesterday, and, they brought back none of it to help pay bills. And, we are running out of toilet paper. And, I am sick. All this equals up to bad news, as, while I have enough money to buy toilet paper, I don't know why I should.

Said lovely roommate has given me $10 so far. Now, he has done some cleaning up and that counts for something, but, it doesn't count for that much. Doesn't help pay the bills, for instance.

Don't know if I mentioned it, before, but, Tuesday afternoon, I found a message from my boss that she could not find the files in the Complete folder. Well, they were there, bu t, for some reason, if you went through the icon, they did not show; had to go straight to the file. So, that's not good.

I did find out, last week, through seeing the files that would normally be coming to me in a different folder, that there has been plenty of legals and such, but, I am just not getting most of them, anymore. Basically, I'm getting the overflow scraps, which is how it always has been, but, now, it appears they hired someone else to do the majority of them, instead of offering me more hours.

Last night, after trying to figure out ways to straighten out the mess that is not all of my own making, I finally left Lulu.com. They wouldn't let me delete most of the files, they had several files that were repeats of other files, there was no way to disassociate them from the project and delete them, no way to delete most of the projects, either. So, I gave up and just left. It's not as if they ever handled my work or payments correctly, anyway.

I downloaded the files first, though. The intention is that I shall vamp up the Chronicles of Ordine: Book I: Sacred Beggar Boy, and, attempt to sell it to a proper publisher. I hope it works out well. I so need an income.
